Application of RFID Technology
The use of RFID technology is primarily applicable in reading and transmitting information about a particular tagged object, and using the said information to determine various decisions as relates to the tagged object (Sarac. Absi, & Dauzère-Pérès, 2010). Consequently, the technology is largely applicable in the management of inventory within various organizations, but some businesses have gone further to use it for monitoring purposes. While Amazon uses the technology to manage its products for the Amazon Prime business, Disney World uses RFID to help track the whereabouts of children since they use the technology to access various locations within the park.
