Description
You will compose an essay that summarizes, analyzes, and evaluates one of our readings from this unit. Choose an article we have studied in this unit that you find particularly interesting or important. You will then write an essay that first summarizes, then analyzes, and finally evaluates your chosen text. You will need to identify what it is the writer is arguing and how they make that argument; use the Steps to Writing a Rhetorical Analysis handout as a guideline. Be sure to include evidence from the text to illustrate and support your analysis. Finally, assess the text and explain why you think the argument is or isn’t strong.
