Must be at least 300 words and be written in your own words.

Must include APA citations.

Must include the following:

1. Define isotonic, hypertonic or hypotonic solutions (detailed explanations of solutions included), and give me examples of where these solutions would be used in a clinical setting.

2. Describe the process of DNA transcription and DNA translation in your own words (at least 2 paragraphs).

Isotonic solutions are the ones with the same osmolalityis the same across a semipermeable membrane(Van Regenmortel et al., 2017). In these solutions, water molecules can move across the semipermeable membrane but the concentration of either solution cannot change.
