Question
Papers should be 3-5 pages in length and cite sources with footnotes using Chicago Manual of Style format. Direct quotes should be no more than 1-2 lines. Submission should be double-spaced with 1-inch margins and 11-12 point Times New Roman font. Headings (Name, Date, Etc.) should be no more than two lines. Note: As the syllabus explains, students only need to utilize the readings and discussions from Week 8 to the end of the semester. Students do not need to do additional research. If students use outside sources, they should be academic sources, and students should cite them appropriately. They may be asked for a copy of the source. All papers must cite at least two of the readings from the Reading Assignments since Week 8. Papers with no citations will be returned ungraded. Such papers may be investigated for plagiarism if it is determined that the lack of citations was done in bad faith. Students without citations who are determined not to have acted in bad faith may resubmit a properly-cited paper with a 10-point deduction.
