The contribution of Social Deviance to Social Problems
Social deviance is an idea used in sociology to describe all social deeds or words that are considered socially abnormal or unethical. Deviances can be criminal or non-criminal. They also differ change with group, time and is dependent on a place. Take tattooing, for instance, it was forbidden in the ancient days but is completely normal in the present day. Certain cultures in the U.S already have tattooing as a rite of passage, (Lomas, 2015).
