Strategy/Healthcare SWOT Analysis

Now that Barbara has an understanding of the factors that influence clinic performance, it is time to set priorities and develop a preliminary strategy. A clear strategy helps to focus energy and resources, establish organizational direction, and strengthen operations where there are opportunities for improvement.

For this project assignment on UCCO, complete a 2-page report to describe a high-level strategy with associated action items for, to include the following concepts:

Based on the results of the SWOT analysis(see attached pages 3-6), what should Barbara recommend as an overall strategy?

Based on the SWOT analysis, Barbara’s overall strategy will involve an implementation plan that will help in a successful implementation and management of the new information system of EHRs. Implementation of EHRs faces numerous challenges including poor technology acceptance, lack of technological knowledge as well as issues with the system itself. Implementation can fail if the employees in a clinic do not have the technological knowledge of using the system.
