Literature has been written for thousands of years, with the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh considered the oldest literary work (written somewhere around 2150 BCE). In this week’s discussion we are going to ask ourselves why people feel the urge to read and write literature (granted, there are probably more readers out there than writers).
