Revelation Summary
The Book of Revelation in the Holy Bible, also referred to as the Apocalypse of John is the final book in the New Testament of the Bible. It is also the final book in the Holy Bible that is used by Christians in the modern world. The book occupies a central position to Christians in regards to the end of times or end of the world. The book is the only apocalyptic book in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. In the book, John talks of the revelation that he received when he was in exile in Rome. According to the first chapter, the revelation was given by God to Jesus who later revealed it to John. The book has twenty two chapters with each discussing some of the elements of revelation that John received from Jesus. For scholars, the book can be divided into several parts which makes it easier for an individual to understand different aspects of the revelation.
