Supply Chain and management
For the individual projects for the supply chain processes, each task requires one full page and no more than two pages describing the product selected.
Supply Chain Process #1. Describe three of the resources needed to produce the product. Procurement at least one source from overseas. The diagram would include three boxes with the resource and the location such as this example. Recommend using PowerPoint and copying into MS Word for the final presentation, but this assignment can use an MS Word diagram.
My product I chose was the Cell Phone. The three resources I need are Plastic, the glass for cell phone, and a metal which I believe Lithium Cobalt Oxide will be good. One of the resources has to be from a different country other than the United States. Here is a minor example of what we were shown.
I know it sounds tricky with the 3 boxes and put into ms word all that. That’s why I tried to show the slide example kinda.

Supply Chain Management
The supply chain for the production of a cell phone requires an assembly of some of the major components that make up a mobile phone. When producing a mobile phone, there are three major components including plastic, glass, and metallic components. On many occasions, these components do not originate from the same city or country. As a result, it is imperative that a firm develops several supply chain management strategies to ensure that all the raw materials are delivered to the assembling point (Mentzer, 2013). In this case, the plastics to be used for the production of the phones originate from China. China is known as a major supplier of various phone components due to the reduced cost of production.
