History of Educational Technology
As technology has evolved, so has its application in education. In this discussion, you’ll examine how educational technology has changed through history. Prior to completing this discussion read Larson & Miller (2011) and view The RSA (2010).
Initial Post: Create an initial response that addresses the following:
Part 1: Research
First, identify a technology that was used in the classroom in each of the following time periods:
1950’s to 1970’s
1980’s to 1990’s
2000 to present
For each technology (you’ll have three) locate a scholarly source that addresses the technology.
Provide the full APA citation.
Part 2: Reflect
Answer the following:
How well has the field of education applied technology?
How has the application of educational technology changed over time?
Where do you see the future of educational technology going?
