Steve was much considerate in the termination meeting to handle everything calmly from his tone, efforts to have Jacob seated and going straight to the point with vivid explanations. He understands the rational nature of Jacob and takes things slow on him like telling him to seat back down. The part where he involves other employees in the interview is wrong for a termination interview because it reduces the victim’s dignity. Steve should have talked to Jacob and let him clear his desk instead of having another person do that.
