The Lord of the Rings
J.R.R. Tolkien’s story “The Lord of the Rings” takes place in the Middle Earth, which is a mythical world. Despite setting of the story being in an imaginary universe, it deals with some of the major issues that affect people’s lives in the modern-day world. One of the main themes of Tolkien’s narratives is the question of good versus evil. “The Lord of the Rings” is a perfect example of the classical struggle between righteousness and malice.
