In the year 1960, united states of America were at a point of a huge social change. Societies in the united states of America were full of the white men who were referred to as old-stock. Native Americans were ruled by a political system called liberalism. Liberalism was much pronounced compared to conservatism. Liberalism can therefore be defined as a doctrine which functions to protect rights and freedom of individuals and is political in nature. Central government is normally responsible for the protection and has power to cause a threat also to citizens in a particular country. This affected both economic and social lives of individuals living in America.

Introduction

 This paper will major on discussing and analyzing the effect of political environment between the year 1960 and 1980 to the economic and social lives of west Indians and the native Americans.
