In Unit 5, you will develop the program design, which includes proposed interventions, funding and a plan for implementation. For the Unit 7 Final Assignment, you will develop a plan to evaluate the effectiveness of your interventions in this program. The Unit 9 Assignment is a power point presentation with audio of your completed Capstone Project. You will share the main elements of your completed program proposal with your classmates in the Unit 9 Discussion and the Unit 9 Seminar.

Abstract
Physical child abuse has been defined as any deliberate and non-accidental injury sustained by a child in the hands of their caregiver. This kind of physical injury is mostly a form of unjustifiably severe punishment mostly occurring when the caregiver is frustrated or angry, not necessarily because of something the child has done but out of their own misery. The person may shake strike or even throw the child, deliberately assault the child through inhumane means such as burning, cutting, twisting, poking, biting and other forms of extreme torture. This research proposes a program dubbed, Fight by the Child (FBTC), which borrows heavily from the UK-based National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) in terms of inspiration and public participation. In addition, this research conducted a review of existing literature on physical child abuse with a view to identifying the existing gaps and consequently filling those gaps through an inquisitive look at how Fight by the Child can be of help to society.
