Leadership and Management
Introduction
A leader is someone who influences people to follow in the achievement of a particular goal while a manager is someone who has people work for him or her. For a manager to be successful he or she must have leadership skills. Leadership skills such as communication, motivation, positivity, trustworthiness, creativity, responsibility, delegation and feedback enable the manager in leading his employees through management skills such as planning, directing, coordinating and overseeing of the execution of the organization’s duties and achievement of the organization’s goals (Renz, 2016).
