The Gloria Tapes
In 1964, Dr. Everett Shostrom, a psychologist from California, produced a series of educational films titled “Three Approaches to Psychotherapy”, therein filming complete psychotherapy sessions for the very first time.
Three celebrated therapists demonstrated their counseling models on a willing client named Gloria: Carl Rogers (Person-Centered Therapy), Fritz Perls (Gestalt Therapy), and Albert Ellis (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy or REBT).

After watching the three sessions, respond to the following:
1) Offer a short paragraph describing each therapist’s approach to counseling. Include a discussion regarding the here and now.
2) Which approach do you feel was best suited to assist Gloria in her process? What specifically was it about the therapist’s approach that you feel was most helpful?
3) Choose one of the sessions and critique the therapist’s use of the five basic skills: Attending, Verbal Statements, Paraphrasing, Clarifying, and Overall skills.
While there is no word count, please provide a project that is comprehensive and demonstrates your understanding of the coursework.

The paper must include a title page, three (3) pages of content, a reference page and be long enough to adequately address the required areas listed above. Develop the paper in the APA format, typed and double-spaced.
