Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder that consists of any form of behaviour change that affects the children. The signs and symptoms that are seen usually include hyperactivity, lack or poor concentration in activities done and even having learning difficulties (Furman, 2005). This condition, however, has no cure, but treatment can help improve circumstances of the disorder. We find that if it is not managed it causes issues to the child even in their adult life like having troubled relationships, finding difficulty in working, and even one having low self-esteem. The diagnosis for this condition is therefore medical. We find that to understand ADHD; we must first understand its signs and symptoms, diagnosis, epidemiology and even pathophysiology (Mercugliano, 1999).
