Bonanza was one of the popular shows which aired on the NBC channel. The program was first released in 1959, and it lasted for fourteen years. The show is considered as one of the longest western shows to be aired on the NBC channel. The background of the show revolves around one family in particular, the Cartwright family which included the widowed father, Ben Cartwright who has been widowed three times and three sons.
