From your reading and understanding of transmission media, we know that there are two major categories of transmission media: guided media (i.e., twisted pair, coaxial cable, optical fiber) and unguided media (i.e., wireless transmission by radio waves, microwaves, infrared). Pick one of these types of transmission media. What is the future and/or new technological advances of the particular media that you chose?
