Regardless of the industry one is operating in, building a good relationship and connection with people is very important. To narrow our debate on counseling sector, rapport building is crucial for good understanding between the clients and the Counselors. In the modern society, Counsellors are perceived as very important people in the community. For counsellors to gather information from their clients, they have to build a good rapport with them. To this extent, therefore, they must adopt strategies and ways to create a good connection with the clients which eventually allow the clients to be open to them.
