Abstract

Human speech, language, and communication is a core issue in developing spoken and written word; the cognitive part focuses on adults and their inter-relation of language to other cognitive systems. We also focus on the impairment of language and communication across the lifespan; in this case, we are more interested in the elderly group (Perera, Aparici, Rosado, & Salas, 2016). On the other hand, cognitive psychology involves the study of both language and thought. In the early days’ psychologists that scientific methods could not be applied in the study of something as private as thinking and thoughts.
