Case Study
There are several stage model theories that were discussed in chapter 2 that can be used to address some of the crises that are faced in the modern world. The stage model theory that I identified from the course textbook is the three stage-model. The three-stage model has been employed during many occasions to address crisis that affect the people. The model involves three stages namely pre-crisis, crisis, and post-crisis. A recent crisis in the 21st century that can be assessed using the model is Hurricane Katrina. The Hurricane was a category 5 hurricane that affected Florida in august 2005. The hurricane had catastrophic effects on eastern Texas and Florida.
