In any organization, it is imperative that employees are trained and developed on some of the strategies that they can adopt to ensure that there is a smooth entry and contracting phases in the OD processes. These strategies ensure that the company gets the best out of the contracts in which it enters into with other parties in its operations and activities. These strategies are particularly important towards the entry phase with new clients. First, the process of landing clients should be as professional as possible. Every communication that is to be made with potential clients should be conducted through official means. Doing this ensures that employees do not use their positions to profit through engagement with new clients. Secondly, clients should be provided with all necessary information before the commencement of the engagement. Doing this ensures that they are aware of the contractual obligations that they are about to enter into.
