There are certain actions by employers towards their employees that may violate some of the provisions that are provided in the National Labor Relations Act. The Act was passed into law in 1935 and helps protect the rights of the employees and the employers in relation to various employment contracts that are entered into at the workplace (Hardin, & American Bar Association. 2015). It allows private employees to join trade unions and engage in collective bargaining. It also allows employees to participate in strikes when they are demanding for better treatment from their employers.
