2.) Describe both the political and cultural advantages and disadvantages of these. Are there any dangers related to them? What?
3.) What specific issues do both the states and federal government have with them? Are these viable? Why or why not?
4) Lastly, what are your overall thoughts on cities within the states declaring themselves as safe havens or sanctuary cities? What are your thoughts on the federal governments directives to shut them down? Are there any potential issues of federalism with this issue? If a local or state government decides to become one, what role should the federal government play?

Sanctuary cities are cities that are protecting illegal immigrants and don’t prosecute its immigrants. In the USA, many of the local government have laws enforcements that protect immigrants rights from the federal government that deports illegal immigrants when they are caught. Texas is one of the states that offer illegal sanctuary.
