Your Final Paper will ask you to reflect on what you have learned, so far, about Leadership. In Week 1, you studied Clausewitz’s theory of genius which he believed was necessary to overcome the inevitable fog and friction of conflict and circumstance. He wrote this at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution and now, today, we stand in the beginnings of the Information Age where networks are global.
Your Final Paper asks the following question:
“What can past military leaders show us about leadership—in any field or profession—in the 21st century?”
In preparation for this Final Paper, this week, you will write an introductory paragraph, develop a draft thesis, and research some initial sources so that you can receive feedback from your instructor.
First, review the Final Paper instructions from the course syllabus.
Next, write an Introduction (1 page) that:
a. Introduces the topic of leadership and why it is important to you.
Then, end your Introduction with a Thesis Statement that answers the Final Paper Question.

Finally, provide an initial Reference page of at least three (3) scholarly sources in addition to the Course Text and Course Readings. Annotate each source with two paragraphs that covers the following:
The first paragraph is a short summary of the article in your own words. Avoid quoting and do not copy the abstract of the article.
The second paragraph is a short discussion of how this source supports your paper’s topic. How does this source reinforce the argument or claim you are making?
