What is referential ambiguity? Referring to critical thinking

Lack of clarity while communicating can be very frustrating to both the speaker and the audience. In most cases, the miscommunication and misinterpretation is as a result of ambiguity and vagueness. Vagueness entails lack of meaning or incomplete meaning in the words that communicator outlays. On the other hand, ambiguity generates a lack of clarity, as the words and phrases have more than one meaning. There are different types of ambiguity, with grammatical ambiguity and referential ambiguity being the major ones. By that token, this paper will discuss more on referential ambiguity.
