The assigned article delves into a widespread outbreak of some type of sickness among the staff members in the Pennsylvania’s Prison System. The outbreak prompted the prison system to go into lockdown so as to deter the spread of the diseases to other members of staff and inmates. The outbreak is said to be caused by a type of synthetic marijuana that has become popular among the staff members within the prions system. Prison systems in the United States need to be on high alert to prevent the spread of the diseases as it could affect the lives of thousands of inmates and members of staff within the prisons in the country.
