Work Term Report II – Career Research Report

When completing your work term report please remember all secondary information included in your report MUST have BOTH in-text citation and be listed on a reference page. Including a list of references on a reference page without in-text citation is considered plagiarism as you have not indicated what information in the body of the report you have taken from someone else’s work.

Two ways to use secondary information are:

Direct quote (word for word from a secondary source), requires you to put the information in quotation marks.
Secondary information written in your own words does not require quotation marks BUT you still must use in-text citation.
