Genetically modified food is high on the rise, and I highly support the increase in its use. The reason why I recommend the use of genetically modified food would be because the food will be altered and will end up offering more nutrients that will be missing in food which have not been altered. Additionally, the food can be grown in surplus which will provide a solution to one of the most significant problems that the earth faces, world hunger (Pidgeon, 2006).
