Geography of Race

Introduction

Genetic composition and visible traditional traits are identifying factors that link people with a similarity of character despite their demographic segregation and distance.  In an instance where several people share outstanding characteristics such as physical and social qualities, then they are defined to belong to a specific race or ethnic group due to the similarity of their physical, social and at times political qualities. Despite the State and Federal laws insisting that nationality and race are not equitable, most American citizens have decided to settle according to their racial originality and moreover, let their racial history and their racial belonging define them.

Notably, the American population is divided into six major racial and ethnic groups, which are currently recognized by the United States of America Census Bureau.
