An EHR is an advanced version of patient’s paper records. EHRs offer valuable benefits to the management of patients’ information. Through EHR, multiple users can access information in a secure way. Information required can be easily obtained in EHR systems at any given time. HER are designed to store information such as patient diagnosis, the medical treatment history, their immunization dates, laboratory test results, history of allergies, radiology images, and so on.
