1) This is the first part of a story I wrote that was inspired by “The Story of Hoichi the Earless”. Though the ending is not included, I guarantee it would be impossible to guess. It has drama, humor, and is up for interpretation. Is the main character a psychopath or is she just misguided? Is she crazy or a genius? You can decide for yourselves. I love writing about the dark side of humanity and why people do the seemingly insane things they do.This is my exploration of guilt and how it eats away at a human’s psyche. The story about ‘Y’Speak No Evil’ is interesting with the way it presents the issue of death in simplicity like in the statue of ‘walking man’. I like that the woman in the story is painted as a psychotic and delusional person due to the way death matters less to her. Human beings are mostly emphatic, and in my opinion, the lack of empathy in this woman may actually mean she is a sociopath.
