Read chapter 3, watch Week 6 Lectures, and watch the films “Gone Baby Gone” and “Sleepers”. Pick one movie and apply Kant’s moral philosophy to judge the MAIN FINAL action. Moral and Immoral Actions
Morality and immorality are two sides of a coin since one is confronted with a circumstance of choosing an issue. A few people contend that it is moral to execute executioners while others are of the feeling that murdering independent of the motive is immoral. Gone Baby Gone is a film that has left the watcher in a moral situation in view of the last activities in the movie. There is a major morality inquiry concerning the choice of either sending Amanda home to rejoin her mom or abandoning her to make the most of her better life. The moral point of view of this film is an investigation of Kant’s ethical theory.
