Workplaces are characterized by dynamic environments that are composed of many parts that are tightly interconnected and determined by feedback in which the effects of a cause of action can be felt later in the long run differently from the short time (Rice, 2001). The decisions made at any level of an organization can transfer effects to other departments in a later time after analysis of the consequences of the initiative. While I was working in a software development company as an intern, we often found ourselves in a dilemma when existing systems that had already been deployed ran into problems. The company usually conducted a quick investigation to identify the root cause of the problem and recommended the junior developers to handle the problem in a quick-fix manner.
