The ethical behavior and social responsibility of Companies signifies the relationship that these Companies have with the members of the society. However, most Companies ruin this relationship through unethical behaviors which may eventually affect the business adversely. It is a matter of fact that most of the Companies that are mainly accused of this are the oil and gas industries. With this in mind, the paper explores the ethics and social responsibility of oil and gas industries on the society. Sound reasons of why most of the Companies engage in unethical practices have been discussed.
