Can living your life pretending that your values are true fulfill the human need for values?
Introduction
Philosophers have grappled with the question what is the motive behind every bad or good human deed. Some philosophers have investigated whether a bad deed can motivate an individual to do good thing. These investigations often culminate into questioning of the role of human values in shaping behavior. There is some motive or logic behind any human action. The question whether anything good cannot originate from the opposite has also led to questioning the role of faith in shaping human behavior. The answers to these questions borders behind notion of metaphysics. According to Nietzsche (1966) behind every logic there is seemingly sovereignty of movement and there is physiological demand for one to lead a certain type of life. The premise of this argument is that the type of life that anyone leads is a creation of sovereign factors.
