i. Does the argument contain or avoid bias?Yes. How?This article contains bias because the author introduces the topic with a preconceived notion that online dating is better than offline dating.
ii. Provide specific examples to support your explanation.
The author points out than online dating is more convenient as compared to offline dating thus it is the better method of dating.
B. Discuss the credibility of the overall argument and answer the following:
i. Were the resources upon which the argument is built credible? No.
• Why or why not?
The resources that the argument was built upon are not credible because they do not provide the cons of offline dating to justify their claim that online dating is better than offline dating.

ii. Does the credibility support or undermine the article’s claims in any important ways?
• How?The credibility of the article undermines the article in significant ways because it does not include the cons of online dating to reveal how they are outweighed by the pros to prove indeed that online dating is the better form of dating as compared to offline dating.

The argument that I have selected contains bias.It does this by explicitly stating that offline dating offers significant benefits as compared to online dating .I have assessed the credibility of the argument to be credible/not credible because the resources in the article were credible/not credible in that theyprovide a perspective from the authors experiences with both online and offline dating .The credibility of this article supports the argument’s claims byrevealing the most significant benefit that offline dating offers which is emotional connection which is arises when the individuals physically meet each other .

My premise is that offline dating offers essential factors, which makes it the most significant dating method. This led to the conclusion that offline dating facilitates the most significant step of dating which entails physically meeting one another to assist in the advancement of a relationship especially one that is intended to be long-lasting.
iii. What evidence or additional research supports the claim you are making in your argument?
The additional evidence that supports my claim is that offline dating advances the emotional connection and chemistry between individuals.
B. Explain the logic and reasoning you are planning to use to advance your argument.
i. What assumptions and resources can you use to advance your argument?
The assumption that I am taking into account in supporting this alternative argument is that offline dating may enable individuals to learn the actual characters of one another as opposed to online dating where people are able to provide a misleading perception about themselves.
ii. Identify any weaknesses in your argument that would require additional research or support.
One of the weaknesses in my argument is that offline dating can be time-consuming especially for individuals who are consumed with their work or studies

My previously identified personal experience with the topic concerning offline dating vs. online dating may develop bias because I have had more experiences related to offline dating as compared to online dating.
