Final Reflection Assessment
What did you find most interesting about the readings and why were they interesting?
I would like you to write an essay reflection about several of the class readings linked within the modules. You are free to pick and write about any of the class readings linked throughout the entire session. The readings that you chose to review need to be either books, scholarly articles or other scholarly readings found in the modules.
Some possible themes to contrast with the readings you choose for this final reflection paper:
What did you find most interesting about the readings and why were they interesting?
Go in-depth on what you didn’t understand from the readings or would like to learn more about.
How do the readings compare with your high school history classes?
What do you think are the most important lessons offered in the readings?
What do the youth need to know about U.S. history that they may not be exposed to in their regular classes?
How can history help us create a better society?
How can history be manipulated?
Why do you think we need Chicano Studies classes?
What does Chicanx Studies offer to the learning community that other history classes may not?
