Question
You will turn the Literary Analysis Research Essay in for points in phases. The first phase is choosing a topic.
Choosing the topic of a Literary Research Project (also known as a Literary Analysis) can be a difficult task. For this reason, I have compiled information from reliable sources that may help you on your journey to selecting the best analysis subject for you. I have also sprinkled in my own advice.
Before starting the process of choosing your topic, please read the Literary Research Guidelines – Alternative Formats, and “Generating Topics,” pgs. 1940-1942, as well as “The Literature Research Essay,” pgs. 1951-1955 in The Norton Intro to Lit.
– Alternative Formats
After you have read the guidelines and the assigned textbook sections, please follow these steps:
STEP 1:
Understand the Literary Research Project. Re-read the assignment guidelines.
STEP 2:
Choose a writer whose work interests you. You can choose from poets, novelists, play-writes, screen-play writers, and songwriters. Avoid non-fiction writers, religious writers, motivational speakers, or any writer that does not use the techniques of Fiction or Poetry.
STEP 3:
Attach a typed Microsoft Word document that says which writer’s work you want to analyze this semester, and why. Attach your file in the “Attach Files” section of this assignment portal.
STEP 4:
After you turn it in, sip on some iced tea, and wait for my feedback regarding your topic.
