Different factors within a business environment interact to achieve the desired outcome within the firm. At Gore’s business, the business approach has been keen on ensuring that the employees have enough autonomy to engage in business as they would wish to (Babson, 2012). For instance, ensuring freedom of innovation without the fear of failure is key to achieving the desired outcomes with respect to personal innovation efforts. According to the the I/O model of above-average return, the resources within an organization are the key to achieving above average returns. In this case, the human resource capacity is one of the critical resources at the Gore business, that has been instrumental in achieving the experienced levels of innovation.
